Coverage	A sample of 6,500 workplaces with 5 regular employees or more
Reference month	Period for calculating wages for June
Survey items	Monthly payment, total wages, working hours, years of work experience, years of consecutive service, etc.

Report on Labor Cost of Enterprise Survey

Purpose	To find out about types and amounts of employment expenses, and thus provide raw data for the establishment of labor policies and promotion of workers' welfare
Coverage	A sample of 3,525 workplaces with 10 regular employees or more
Reference month	Every fiscal year
Survey items	Total amount of cash wages (regular and overtime payment and special payment including bonuses ), retirement pay, recruitment expenses, education and training expenses, legal welfare expenses, non-legal welfare expenses, etc.

3. Report on Labor Demand Survey

Report on Labor Cost of Enterprise Survey

Purpose	To find out about the situation of workforce supply and demand, such as the current number of workers and manpower shortages, by industry and occupation, and use it for the effective adjustment of workforce supply and demand, vocational training, etc.
Coverage	A sample of 32,990 workplaces with 5 regular employees or more
Reference month	Every April 1, October 1.
Survey items	Workers' gender, age, educational background, occupation, years of consecutive service, years of work experience, no. of working days, no. of working hours, monthly payment, yearly special payment, etc.

4. Survey on Labor Conditions by Type of Employment

Report on Labor Cost of Enterprise Survey

Purpose	To find out about the number of establishments by region and the number of workers by gender and employment type by compiling statistics on all establishments with a regular, temporary and daily or unpaid family worker or more based on the results of the “Census on Basic Characteristics of Establishments” conducted by the National Statistical Office every year.
Coverage	a sample of 32,284 workplaces with one employee or more
Reference month	Period for calculating wages for June
Survey items	Workers’ employment type, years of consecutive service, years of work experience, job levels, no. of working days, no. of working hours, monthly payment, yearly special payment, whether or not to take out social insurance, etc.
